DIMAPUR, JUNE 12 (MExN): The Zeliang People’s Organisation (ZPO) today appreciated “all the dedicated souls involved in rendering valuable services to our people as returnees from the day they landed back home in Nagaland.”
Noting the efforts of the District Task Force, civil society organizations and church bodies, the ZPO said “what is needed now is our cohesive strength and sincere prayers.”
“We desire to acknowledge everyone in the bottom-up pattern starting from the frontline workers especially the most unrecognised lot, who are the sanitation workers, cleaners and drivers, the security personnel and essential service providers,” a press release from the ZPO media cell stated.
It further thanked the medical teams at all levels be it in the Quarantine Centres and COVID-19 Hospitals and the government officers on COVID -19 duty round the clock.
“We all know that the novel Corona virus is here to stay and we are to learn to live with it but what overwhelms us is that fact that many of our people, our children, our brothers and sisters are circumspectly brought back home while many more, still outside the state are being seen provided assistance in a timely manner,” the ZPO said.
