Peren CAB discuses setbacks during rescue operations

Peren, March 6 (MExN): Peren District CHILDLINE Advisory Board (CAB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, who is also Chairman of Peren District CAB at the DC's Conference Hall on March 5. 

The board members had an open discussion pertaining to the functioning of CHILDLINE in the district. Regarding rescue vehicle for CHILDLINE Peren, Centre Coordinator for Peren District, Ibamsile pointed out the shortcomings that are being faced during rescue operations such as unavailability of vehicle to which the DC assured to look into the matter. 

Other agenda discussed in the meeting included incorporation of CHILDLINEweblink and Komal film on Child Sexual Abuse in Peren District Official website, to maintain record of entry-exit vehicle number in every check-post on a regular basis, to organise meeting of DTF on Child Labour and to organise one day training cum orientation on Child Rights and Child Protection with Community based organisations.

A short powerpoint presentation was also given by Centre Coordinator, Ibamsile wherein she briefed on CHILDLINE, its objectives and actions, intervention model, Child protection activities and notable achievements and exercises of the CHILDLINE till date.
