DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 28 (MExN): A Divine Mercy Retreat Team led a one day ‘spiritual preparation’ for St Francis Xavier Church Kidima dedication.
The new Church building for St Francis Xavier Catholic Church Kidima is scheduled to be blessed by Most Reverend Dr James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima under the theme ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’ (Mark 11:17) on December 5.
The ‘spiritual preparation’ was led by Divine Mercy Retreat Team, Diocese of Kohima, Bishop House, Dimapur on November 28 December at the Church premises.
Rev Fr Sabu in the retreat said sin was like leprosy that eliminates oneself from sacrament and God. Confession was heard by Rev Fr Siby John (Parish Priest), Rev Fr Mathai, SDB, Parish Priest, Mao, Rev Fr Sabu, Rev Fr William Pinto SJ, Principal of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Jakhama.
The Divine Retreat Team was Rev Fr Sabu, Sr Anit and Sr Camila. Praise and worship with action hymns, adoration, rosary, confession and Holy Mass celebration were the highlights of the day. Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels (FSMA), parents, youth and children took part in the devotional session.
