MOKOKCHUNG, SEPTEMBER 27 (MExN): A 6 days training on operation & maintenance of heavy earth moving machinery was launched in Mokokchung on September 27. It is being conducted by the PWD Mechanical& Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in collaboration with District Skill Committee Mokokchung.
The programme was inaugurated by SDO (C) Mokokchung, Sentilong Ozukum at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex Mokokchung. In his speech, Ozukum said skill is as important as academic degree in this generation and hoped that everyone will benefit from the training.
Earlier, introduction of training was delivered by Er ImsapangImsong, Mechanical Engineer, Mokokchung Division and the programme was chaired by Er T Imlisunep Ao, Principal, Government, ITI, Mokokchung.
The training consists of two batches. The second batch will start on October 4. Altogether 50 trainees are taking part in the training in the first batch.
