DIMAPUR, July 30 (MExN): A one day workshop on ‘Awareness and Motivational Talk on Skill’ was organized by the Department of Economics and IQAC cell SJU in collaboration with the Directorate of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship on July 28 at St Joseph University, Chumoukedima.
Welcome address to dignitaries and to all the participants was given by Dr Debojit Konwar, HOD of Economics Department, which was followed by a special number by the students of BA 3rdof Economics Department.
A video presentation of PROSJU was also presented. The first session started with a talk on unemployment scenario in Nagaland by Er. Alongse Sangtam Deputy Director, Directorate of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship followed by the second session with a talk on various skilling activities by Menguzelie Suhu, Senior Instructor of the same department. The third session started with a talk on entrepreneurship by Er Alongse Sangtam which was followed by an open discussion with the dignitaries and the students. Finally, the session concluded with a vote of thanks by Shashirenla, Asst. Prof, Department of Economics.
