5th NECU National Naga Culture Symposium on Dec 5 and 6

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): The North East Christian University (NECU) has informed that the 5th edition of its National Naga Culture Symposium based on Social & Cultural theme will be held from December 5 to 6. This is an annual event which is free and open to all for presentation and participation. 

The university organizes regular Naga Culture Symposium complementary to the State Annual Hornbill Festival showcasing the hub of the rich cultural heritage of the Nagas. The symposium is aimed to showcase both academic and rich cultural artistic traditions of the Nagas. 

The overarching theme for the Symposium is Cultural Identity, Heritage & Festivals, wherein the experts and the participants will deliberate various sub-themes and share their ideas on: Ethnic Festivals & Recent Trends: Commemoration and Celebration of the Diversities; Complexities of Culture: Cultural Values, Dynamics and Diversities;. Folk Culture: Cuisine, Weaving, Traditional Music and Dances, Traditional Musical Instruments, and Traditional Attires; Ethnic Identities and Ethnic Minority; Economy: Local Entrepreneurship; and Globalization and Identity.

Paper presentations are invited on the above theme and sub themes. An abstract can be submitted to nagaculturesymposium@necu.ac.in. The abstract should not be more than 250 words. It should have a clear specification of titles and keywords and send to the organizers.
