Riding two-Wheeler can be thrilling and enjoyable, but it also comes with a high risk of injury or death in case of a mishap. One of the most vital ways to protect yourself while riding a two-wheeler is wearing a helmet.

With the high number of two-Wheelers in Nagaland, especially Dimapur & Kohima...it has come to limelight that many still don't wear Helmets especially the 'Pillion Riders'. Most of the riders are seen wearing Helmets just for the fear of Police Checking and not for the safety...while, on the other hand, only few Pillion Riders are seen wearing Helmet. Helmet is equally important for both Riders & Pillion Riders for their safety.

According to Section 129(a), all riders above the age of four should use "protective gear" when riding a motorcycle; this includes both the rider and the pillion rider.

Therefore, safety should always be a priority on any day, and wearing a helmet is one of the most precautious decisions.
