Observance of 34th death anniversary of AZ Phizo in Kohima on April 30.
Kohima, April 30 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) and Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) today observed 34th death anniversary of A Z Phizo at Phizo Hill, Kohima.
Apfhelie Kesiezie, convenor, Phizo Graveyard Committee spoke on the occasion. The programme was led by NNC spokesperson Kolezo Chase. Union Baptist Church Kohima and Lidi Kro-u, Kohima village presented special songs.
Earlier, Bible reading and prayer was led by Rev Dr Rachiilie Vihienuo, executive director Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC). The programme also witnessed laying of wreaths by FGN, Naga Army FGN, NNC, Naga Women Federation NNC, Shepoumaramth Region FGN etc.
The programme concluded with mass prayer.
