“A college maintains its integrity as a Christian College, when it maintains an integration of Christian thinking with universal thinking, the wholeness of the person and that of an integrity that lands credibility to a college where it calls itself a Christian College.” Dr Kethoser Aniu Kevichüsa stated this speaking as the guest speaker during the Silver Jubilee celebration of the Japfü Christian College on November 27.

Stating that a typical Christian college, smoking and drinking is prohibited, prayer meeting and chapel are conducted and vibrant evangelical Union, choral groups or host of Christian activities which also helps in growing faith. He however added that a lot of typical Christian colleges conspicuously misses Christian thinking.

“There is little or no integration of biblical clue and Christian thinking in the subjects that are taught in the curriculum. Subjects are taught well but completely independently, autonomously and securely with no relation whatsoever to the Christian faith. As such Christian mind is abandoned or no barring about this disciplines,” he said.

Dr Kethoser Aniu in this line said, Christian thinking is not just thinking by a Christian but thinking christianly by a Christian about anything and everything in a consistently Christian way. Supplementing that the best place to do Christian thinking and to teach Christian thinking is not the Church but the Christian College, he said, “We must try to look at all our subjects, sylabbi and to teach and learn from a distinctly Christian perspective so that our understandings of subjects are deeply biblical and Christian perspective.”
