March 30 declared a transaction day
KOHIMA, MARCH 27 (MExN): To enable clearance of Government bills during March 2024, Finance Department has declared March 30 (Saturday), which is a non-transaction day, as transaction day for both State Treasuries and banks in the State.
Call for fasting & prayer on April 7
DIMAPUR, MARCH 27 (MExN): The Organizing Committee of the Prayer for the Nation has called for a one-day nationwide fasting and prayer for the Naga nation on April 7 in all churches or locations where Naga Christians are residing.
In an appeal letter, it requested all administrative heads of every denominational churches to disseminate this request to their respective local churches, urging them to observe the “one-day fasting and prayer for our nation without fail so that through God’s grace, the sins of the Naga people may be forgiven and the long awaited honourable solution to the Indo-Naga political issue be achieved without further delay.”
