Nagaland the eldest among the 7 of 8 sisters (Assam the oldest) of N.E is said to be lacking in all development networks and infrastructures behind her younger siblings because of political uprisings insurgency, law and order situation, extortions and what not. If so, how come under such grim conditions magnificent private business buildings, mansions and farm houses adorned with beautiful farms and gardens, luxurious cars, swimming pools, private resorts and recreation centers mushroomed so amazingly. Are they reward miracles rained down from heaven for those who work so rigorously, heavily laden with the burden of responsibilities, trying to usher in a peaceful and serene welfare state for the people of Nagaland? Is it not the high time for we Nagas to wake up from our deep stupid slumber of the civic sense of our rights and responsibilities, and built up a strong healthy growth of mindset and standing firm strife hard to deliver a peaceful welfare state for the people of Nagaland from the present state of affairs.
