Niuland officers advised to ensure functioning of offices

Niuland, June 22 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Niuland district Sara S Jamir advised officers in the new district to immediately begin operations in their respective offices.

Chairing the first co-ordination meeting with the heads of offices at the DC’s Conference Hall Niuland on June 22, the DC noted that many heads of offices are yet to be deployed in the district; however, officers already present should ensure functioning of their offices. With regard to deployment of office heads, she said the matter would be taken up with the higher authority without delay so that Niuland can function as a full-fledged district by the end of the year.

According to a DIPR report on the meeting, the DC presented an outline of the master plan for the new DC complex and directed the officers to have consultative meetings with their respective heads of offices for necessary arrangements and accommodation in the proposed Complex.

The DC assessed the performance of various departments and urged the officers to review their achievements while calling for a fresh vision to take the District forward, according to the report.
