One missing from QC in Tuensang

A male returnee from Chennai who was due to be discharged on June 25 has reportedly gone missing from the Sao Chang College quarantine centre in Tuensang. An official told The Morung Express that the person had been tested negative twice and was due to be released on Thursday along with 107 others. He had also completed 28 days quarantine period. However, he was nowhere to be found during the time of release. According to the official source, his roommate had seen him around 6:30 in the morning. He had then gone to bathe and his whereabouts after that could not be ascertained. The search for the missing person has been going on since morning and he has not even returned home, according to the source. “At this point of time, whether he ran away or not cannot be established,” the official said. Meanwhile, an FIR for missing person has been filed at the Tuensang police station.
