DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 21 (MExN): Salesian College of Higher Education organized a one-day webinar on the capacity building and personality development for female students of the college. The event was coordinated by the Women’s Grievance Cell. 

The programme was sponsored by the National Commission for Women, Government of India. The resource persons of the day were Professor Dr Rosemary, from the Department of English, Nagaland University, Meriema Campus Kohima on the theme Personal Capacity Building.

Dhonthaidi Langthasa, District Coordinator, District Level Centre for Women - Mahila Shakti Kendra, Dimapur, spoke on the topic of Professional Career Skills, and Fr Jonas Kerketta, Media Coordinator, Bosco College of Teacher Education, Dimapur dwelt on the topic Digital Literacy and Effective use of Social Media. 

The programme was chaired by Asst. Professor, Kevirienuo Angela and the concluding remarks were given by Asst. Professor Shikani S Aye. Earlier in the programme Dr Paul Punü, the principal of the college introduced the purpose of the webinar which was solely conducted for the female students as wished by the sponsoring agency, the National Commission for Women. This information was circulated and offered by the Nagaland University to all its affiliating colleges. He also thanked the resource persons for sharing their time and expertise with the students.
