Longleng, September 23 (MExN): Tamlu Ching Vangvungla (TCV) has vehemently condemned the alleged brutal murder of Easter Phom, a resident of Yimyu ward under Mokokchung, whose body was later found on September 14.
In a press note, TCV President, M Manlen Phom and Secretary, N Manow Phom stated that the union was in great shocked and saddened by the report. The union called upon all right thinking individuals, groups and societies to condemned such heinous crime and brutality meted out to an innocent woman.
Further, it urged to the law enforcing authority and the district administration to investigate the murder case thoroughly without any lapse and give a befitting punishment to the culprits who have no moral dignity for human values. TCV also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
