Children’s Summer Festival kicked off at Faith Harvest Church, Kohima on June 21.
Kohima, June 21 (MExN): Children’s Summer Festival with the theme ‘The Great Discovery’ - Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, kicks off at Faith Harvest Church (FHC), Kohima on June 21. A press release received here stated that the objective of the festival is to spread evangelism to the younger generation and create an atmosphere of love, grace, and empowering them through the Holy Spirit.
The inauguration of the four-day festival started with a skit dance on the theme ‘The Great Discovery’ and worship from the church worship team. Toli, Assistant Director of Kids Kingdom spoke on ‘Jesus is the only way to salvation.’
During the inaugural session, blessings were released upon every student by laying hands on them and praying over them. Altogether, 600 plus students registered for the festival from different districts of the state, from the age group of four to 15 years.
The highlights of the festival include activities like zumba session, prophetic art, Q and A session for the teenagers, and games and recreation.
It may be mentioned that the festival is organized every year and this time it was held after a gap of two years due to the pandemic.
