Nagaland BJP adopts resolution on Naga Political issue

Dimapur, April 17 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagaland unit, on April 17, has resolved to “wholeheartedly support an early, inclusive and honorable solution to the decades old Naga Political issue.”

Appreciating all the various Naga Political Groups who were part of the peace process, the State BJP Unit also appealed to the Government of India and the negotiating parties to expedite the process of finalisation, for  lasting peace and all round development of  the State.

A resolution to this regard was passed during the Party’s 'State Executive Meeting' held at IMC Hall Dimapur on Saturday, where it also appreciated all the various Naga Political Groups who were part of the peace process, and appealed the Government of India and the negotiating parties to expedite the process of finalisation.

“This would usher in lasting peace and all round development in the State of Nagaland,” the Party said. 

Besides, the executive meeting also adopted  a 7-Point Economic Resolutions moved by Minister for PHED Jacob Zhimomi, and seconded by Minister Kashiho Sangtam and State Vice President Peter Rutsa, informed a release from Media Cell, BJP Nagaland.
