Nagaland Choral Directors Association announces workshop

Dimapur, October 16 (MExN): The Nagaland Choral Directors Association (NCDA) will be organizing its first choral workshop at Dimapur Christian Fellowship Church, Darogapathar from November 18 to 20.

With the vision ‘to promote choral art; to enhance, empower and enrich choir directors, and music directors in Nagaland by creating and providing various platforms for the advancement of choral music,’ likeminded choral enthusiasts came together to form the Nagaland Choral Directors Association (NCDA) in 2019.  ‘This association is the first of its kind in Nagaland,’ NCDA stated in an update.

NCDA plans to organize choral festivals, workshops, seminars, conventions, and other events and also promote Naga choral music, composers and arrangers. The NCDA events were put to hold the last two years due to the global pandemic, it stated.
