DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 19 (MExN): The Northern Maram People's Organization (NMPO) and Northern Maram Students' & Youths' Organization (NMSYO) has acknowledged NSCN (IM) Yaruiwo, Q Tuccu; Ato Kilonser, Th Muivah and members of the Collective Leadership for inducting Khamba Maram as member of Collective Leadership and whose Oath of Allegiance was administered on September 16.
“Now as member of Collective Leadership, Khamba Maram is the first person among the Maram Tribe set to hold Office of the highest decision making body of NSCN (IM)/GPRN,” a press release from the NMSYO stated.
It expressed hope that Khamba Maram “will uphold the trust reposed and the blessing bestowed on him by the Government of People's Republic of Nagalim.” “Through his position, we believe, he will continue to enhance the smooth relationship between the Government and the public from the grassroots that will strengthen the Government,” it added.
“We pray that Almighty God will continue to lead and protect him in discharging his given duties and responsibilities,” the NMSYO said.
