Villages bury past conflict

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): A historic landmark was made between the Thüvopisümi and Rüzazhomi village on October 9, 2010 when the former and the latter resolved the past memory of conflict and dispute to a total end by uniting the two villages in peace and mutuality.

Addressing and urging the congregation, the speaker, Rev. Dr. P. Dozo stated “the greatest thing is when God brings human past behaviors such as warring disputes, enmity, conflicts and confrontations to reconciliation and a total end based on humility, willingness and acceptance.” He further stated that establishing peaceful co- existence is like a marriage that no man should put asunder to it as the Bible says and a true achievement is a common property since God is the transparent source of every success. “As a synergy is a combination of multiple resources for a better result, the new relationship of the two communities must work and propel together toward a brighter generation free from infliction of past memories but motivated by inspiration of modern world. Traditional pride-quarrel has nothing to do with big vision for life,” Rev. P. Dozo exhorted.

“What can bring human value include sweats, vision based- hardworking, honesty, selflessness, and dedication. Modern challenges are no more physical but a higher plane to catch up the trend of a changing world. We talk about unity and harmony. God is the life-nerve and life-blood of that solidarity. May we all remain faithful to God, the Creator, the Giver and Sustainer as we begin a journey towards a better future,” he concluded.
