KOHIMA, JANUARY 26 (MExN): The exhibition match between the organizers of the NE Dr T Ao Trophy 2020 and officials of Youth Resources & Sports was played at the Indira Gandhi Stadium today under the floodlights.
In order to facilitate wide clarity and bring about latest technology to enhance the projection of the matches from semi finals onwards, 2 large screens LED displays have been installed at the venue making it the first of its kind in the state to telecast the match.
The match patron, K Kire, IPS, Retd DGP Nagaland was facilitated by the organizers met to the players in the field before the match began.
The Dr. T.Ao Trophy 2020 organizing team defeated YRS Team by 3-2 goals.
In the first half of the game, the first goal came from the boots of Mughato but shortly this was equalized through a header by Er. Khreilie.
In the second half, the organizers team played a very tactful and aggressive game earning them two consecutive goals through the boots of Ranjan, tournament referee and Khekiho Shohe, convener of Media & Control Room. The YRS team reduced their goal tally by another goal score during extra time through Menukholie, groundsman, Indira Gandhi Stadium.
Meanwhile, the organizers have informed that for the semi final match on January 26, viewers have been asked to reach the venue and be seated by 1:00 PM in order to ease traffic congestion during peak time.
The multimedia LED screens will be used to telecast match highlights, best goals, best saves of the tournament from 1:00 Pm onwards. Match countdown starts by 12:30 Pm.
