NNC Sumi region informs

Dimapur, July 3 (MExN):
NNC Sumi region President, Ghosuho Tuccu has informed all kilonsers, deputy kilonsers, tatars and commanders of Naga Army NNC (non-accord) to attend an emergency  meeting convened on July 5, to discuss some important issues. All concerned persons are requested t attend the meeting without fail.   

New president of 11th NA II ACCC

Kohima, July 3 (MExN):
Pfurhicha Rüpreo has been unanimously appointed as the new president of 11th Northern Angami II Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) during a general body meeting held on June 28; this was informed by Zeneizolie, General Secretary, 11th NA II ACCC.

Enrolment  for NCC  Cadets

DIMAPUR, JULY 3 (MExN):
After completing the Enrolment of Cadets of Junior Division (JD) for National Cadet Corps (NCC) NCC in Nagaland Schools in Apr – May this year, Col Paramvir Yadav, Sena Medal  the Officer Commanding 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC Kohima, will now carry out Enrolment of Senior Division (SD) Cadets from Nagaland, for  NCC. This was stated in a press note issued by RK Palta, Col PRO (Defence) Kohima.  The date-wise schedule of Enrolment will be as follows:  In Govt College, Kohima on 12 and 13 July, In Science College, Jotsoma on 14 and 15 July, In St Joseph’s College, Zakhama on 18 and 19 July and in Govt College, Dimapur 20 - 21 July 2011. The Enrolment  process will commence  at 10 AM on  each day.

SAKD condemns June 30 incident

Dimapur, July 3 (MExN):
The Sumi Aphuyemi Kuqhakulu Dimapur (SAKD) is appalled by the attack on Inavi village on June 30. A press note issued by SAKD President, Vikugha Kappo stated that the assassination of Inavi Village GB and Chairman, and the abduction, torture and attempted murder on several villagers deserve vehement condemnation from all citizens. “Whatever the situation may be, nobody has the right to take justice into their own hands and commit violence on fellow human being,” the note stated.  The SAKD has further urges the law enforcing agencies to spare no effort to identify the perpetrators and deliver justice at the earliest. The note added that such acts must not be condoned in any way and precedents must be set to deter any such crimes in future.
