• Well I guess our state is having a strong opposition party after a long period of time, which is a good sign. With a strong opposition the ruling party has more focus on its duties and welfare for the state...
• Congress is responsible to every party and they are the best party for government
Those who said “NO” had this to say:
• No, the congress has not been a responsible opposition party at all. Instead of representing the grievances and needs of the common people, they are busy trying to topple the government and form a new government. So, rather that holding accountable the government, it is busy scheming plans to come to power. That is not being a responsible opposition party.
• Congress has not been responsible at all. Since they have been in the government for so long, they continue to act like one. They forget that they are in the opposition.
• Besides the usual bickering that is synonymous with all opposition parties, I really don’t see any constructive role played by the congress party....if this is really a democratic society that we are living in, besides our’s being the largest democracy in the world, then the opposition party is proving to be a sorry sight so far!
• No because there’s no constructive opposition in matters relating to public welfare. Even if they do, it’s always for their political gain. As a responsible and one of the oldest parties in the state, effort should be made more on the action front and not merely with words.
