Those who said “YES” had this to say:
• With the Chief Minister himself taking initiative in the development of the personality of the youths, the government is taking a leap towards youth empowerment. We can see the results pouring in everyday with new avenues being opened for the upcoming generation. In fact, we are lucky to have a broad minded chief minister like Neiphiu Rio without whom the present state of the youths would not have been achieved.
• Because the DAN govt. is sponsoring the youth’s to study in ITFT at Chandigarh so that there will be less of unemployment problem.
• DAN government is just exploiting the Naga youths to use them in their policy formulations.
• If we as students are not getting our scholarship, can we expect the DAN govt to do anything for the youth?
• Dan Govt has done good works for youths under the Chief Minister’s Corpus fund.
• The DAN government’s initiative in sports, music, financial assistance to educated unemployed youths and other job opportunities are worth mentioning.
Those who said “NO” had this to say:
• When the DAN Govt came to power we all expected them to do a lot, especially with younger Chief Minister and Ministers, we thought would understand the problems of the youth better. But alas! Big disappointment. If they are genuinely concerned about the future of the youth, they should open up their eyes and see the exodus of our youth going out of the State in search of better life...
• I personally presume that until and unless the leaders dare to come out with a mission for development with true spirit than god would lead Nagaland with prosperity and peace for all. God bless
