TUENSANG, NOVEMBER 28 (MExN): One man has been sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a six year old minor girl in Tuensang. The judgment passed by Longshithung Ezung, Special Judge POCSO, Tuensang Nagaland, on November 23 convicted the accused, one M Tangsoi (65 years) under section 376 (f) of the IPC and section 6 POCSO Act for raping the minor in 2019. “In default of payment he shall undergo further sentence of 6 months,” it further stated. The case was investigated by ASI Chilliam and Prosecution was led by Kenile Kent, Special Public Prosecutor, POCSO, Tuensang.
