The 10th Kohima District Table Tennis Championship and Catch Them Young Tournament organized by Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) and supported by Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland got underway here today at Indoor TT Stadium.
The tournament was formally inaugurated by Swelul Pucho, president Nagaland Table Tennis Association.
In this two day long tournament, 37 players are vying for coveted champion titles in Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Veteran Singles, Veteran Doubles, Men’s Double, Mixed Doubles and Youth Singles.
Catch Them Young event features Under 14 for Boy’s Singles and Girl’s Singles, supported by Youth Resources & Sports.
Earlier, KDTTA president Vikuo Metha delivered welcome address.
The closing function has been scheduled at 3:00 PM on October 30. Zhopovi Zecho, District Sports Officer Kohima will grace the function as the guest of honour.
