A two day long ‘10th edition of Nagaland Spelling Bee Championship 2023’ under the aegis of Fountain Club in collaboration with State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT) Nagaland will commence from October 5 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma near Kohima.
Nagaland’s water resource department advisor Tongpang Ozukum will grace the inaugural function as “Bee Guest” at 9:30 am. Keynote address will be delivered by SCERT director Kevirale-u Kerhuo. Organizing Committee Convenor Vipopal Kintso will deliver welcome address.
MLA Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso will be the special guest for valedictory function on October 6.
The pronouncers of spelling bee championship will include: Naroti Jamir, Sekholu Tetseo, Meliwe-u Elah, Mechuni Iralu and Susan Angami. Judges will consists- Kekhrieneinuo Sekhose, Lipoknukshi Jamir and Emma Thonger; Jury Board- Vipopal Kintso, Medo Yhokha and Neizokhotuo Belho.
Other partners of Spelling bee championship includes; The Morung Express, Excellogics Tech Solutions, Crystal Cables and Mirrorless Films.
The prize money includes: Champion-Rs 80,000; Second-Rs 60,000; Third-Rs 40,000; Fourth-Rs 20,000; Quarter finalists-Rs 10,000 each and Young speller-Rs 10,000.
