Quarter final match at the ongoing 11th Lotha Football Championship (LFC) 2022 organised by Wokha District Football Association.
Wokha, February 7 (MExN): Tournament favourites Friends Club Wokha Village beat Lower “E” Khel Wokha Village by 3-2 in a close encounter match played at local ground Wokha in the first quarter finals match in the ongoing 11th Lotha Football Championship (LFC) 2022 organised by Wokha District Football Association.
Eshong early two goals in the 11th and 31st minute gave Lower “E” Khel a lead, but Friends Club came back strong later in the match where Aloumai and tournament highest scorer Lironthung found the equaliser for Friends Club Wokha Village in the 34th and 48th minute of the game, own goal from James Tsanglao in the 77th minute shattered the hope of Lower “E” Khel to enter the semi finals.
In the second quarter finals match played between Longsa Sports Association and Englan Range Football Club, Longsa SA won the match by 3-0, Pur-Sunep netted two goals in the 24th and 79th minute while Iteababe added one more goal in the 41st minute for Longsa SA.
Chenithung Kikon, OC Police Station Wokha will grace the 3rd quarters finals match as the Match Patron.
