A1 Tsungiki to lock horns with Friends Club
Wokha, February 9 (MExN): Last year runners-up A1 Tsungiki will play the finals against Friends Club Wokha Village of the ongoing 11th Lotha Football Championship 2022 on February 10.
In the first semifinals on February 9, Friends Club defeated NRSA 2-0 with Kevizo Vero and Awang scored the winning goal in the 31st and 75th respectively.
In the second semifinals, A1 Tsungiki to beat Longsa Sports Association 5-0 with Yiben, Nythong, Kekhrie and Senlo Kent netting a goal each for the team.
SDO (C) Chonpenthung Ezung and Yanrenthung Humtsoe graced the 1st and 2nd semifinals matches as the match patron.
Meanwhile, YM Humtsoe, NCS (Retd), Vice President, NDPP, Minister of State (Status) Nagaland will grace the closing ceremony on February 10 at the local ground Wokha.
The 11th Lotha Football Championship is being organised by the Wokha District Football Association.
