Morung United today registered win over Unity FC 3-2 on the second day of the ongoing 11th edition of Morning Premier League (MPL) 2026 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Unity FC took the lead 2-0 till the first half with Mele and Asezo netting a goal each in the 23rd and 26th minute respectively.
Subsequently, Morung United dominated the entire proceeding of the second half with Kenie fetching the first goal for the team in the 38th minute.
Later, Alo equalized the score level against Unity FC by scoring another goal for Morung United in the 67th minute.
Stephen struck the winning goal for Morung United in the 87th minute.
