Dimapur, April 13 (MExN): Dimapur remains the only district with active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland as three more new cases were reported on Wednesday.
According to the daily health bulletin issued by the state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), the new cases were detected during self tests and random testing in the district over the last 24 hours.
With this, the active case count in the state rose to 12, out of which 10 cases are asymptomatic, one is mild and one is moderate on oxygen.
The cumulative tally of infections in the state now stands at 35,487 with 755 COVID related fatalities. Another four deaths were categorised as ‘Non Covid deaths (with COVID-19 positivity)’ in the IDSP bulletin. A total of 33,232 persons have recovered from the virus while 1,484 have migrated to places outside the state.
