KDVFA launches jersey, track suit

In view of the upcoming 13th Nagaland Veteran Football Association (NVFA) Inter-District Tournament 2026, the Kohima District Veteran Football Association (KDVFA) today launched its official team jersey and track suit at The Chimney Hut, New Secretariat Road, Kohima.
The 13th NVFA Inter-District Tournament 2026 has been scheduled for February 9 to 14 at Old Showuba Local Ground in Niuland district.
KDVFA team jersey and travelling shirt was sponsored by Ex-MLA Khriehu Liezietsu while track suit was jointly sponsored by Kutu (Kevingutuo) Sekhose and Peter Kuotsu.
KDVFA president Kutu Sekhose called upon the players to maintain discipline and give their best to defend the champion title.
Calling for a proper team coordination and performance improvement, he expressed hope that the team will perform well and uphold the pride of Kohima district.
Roko Angami, press secretary NVFA urged upon the KDVFA team to maintain team spirit while also calling for sportsmanship to excel.
He informed that the team will be leaving Kohima on Monday for the tournament.
“We are a defending champion. We have to adopt a positive approach,” Angami said.
Earlier, KDVFA finance secretary Neidilhou Keditsu chaired the jersey launching programme.
The KDVFA team include; Lipokyanger, Repamongba, Kechangulie Dul, Supongjungshi, Peleneito Vakha, N Nchumbemo Humtsoe, Moakumzuk, Roko Angami, Viliebeizo Liezietsu, Diethozolie Peseyie, Kezha Sophi, Khriengulie Rio, Imokumdang, Burakum Ao, Issac Kemp, Neidilhou Keditsu, PC Ngully and Vikuzo Zhotso.
Team manager- Kevingutuo Sekhose, team coach- Arun Kumar, team physio- Dr. Viketoulie Pienyii and Peter Kuotsu as official.
