16 Naga students to join Eastern India Science Fair

Kohima, November 6 (MExN): The State Level Science Exhibition on the theme “Science, Society and Environment” was held here at Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima on November 1 last. The programme was organised by the Directorate of School Education, Nagaland in collaboration with NCERT, New Delhi. Altogether, 16 students has been selected to represent Nagaland at the Eastern India Science Fair from January 17 21 at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata. The 16 selected students from Nagaland will present their model/ projects on Industrial Waste to be a Greener Source of Energy, Energy from Waste Materials, Earthquake, Cold and Heat preventive House, Environmental Issues and Concerns, Solar Room Heater from Waste Can Tins, Production of Electricity from Waste Materials, Rain Water Harvesting, Industrial Waste as a Fulfilment for Agriculture, Flood Prediction Alarm, Energy – Resources and Conservation, Energy – Resources and Conservation.
