Dimapur, December 9 (MExN): The 1st All Nagaland Dev Nagri Lipi (Dev Nagri Script) seminar organized by Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Training Institute and College, Hindi Nagar, Padumpukhuri, Dimapur was held at the College premises from December 6 to 8.
Programme committee, Secretary Madan Gupta in a press release informed that resource persons from different parts of the country attended in the seminar. Dr. Govind Sharma, President Hindi Granth Academy MP and National President, Vidya Bharti from Bhopal Madhya Pradesh was the chief guest. Others who shared chair with him were Prof. Anant Ram Tripati, Pradhan Mantri, Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti Wardha, Maharashtra; President award recipient M. Piyongtemjen Jamir, Chairman, Rashtra Bhasha Hindi College cum President of Nagri Lipi Parishad Nagaland; Dimapur and President, JanJati Shiksha Samiti Nagaland.
There were 6 sessions in all with different subjects and resource persons in each session, the main subjects were Dev Nagri Script in context to training and Technology; Dev Nagri Script in the form of global Script; Importance of Dev Nagri Script for any language/Dialect without Script; Necessity of Dev Nagri Script in context to linking of the different dialects Nagaland; Scientifical Dev Nagri Script and the necessity of a link Script.
The paper presentations were given by Piyongtemjen Jamir, Chairman, Nagri Lipi Parishad Nagaland; Prof. Shiv Charan Mishra from Wardha; Dr. Govind Sharma Bhopal; Prof. Anant Ram Tripati, Wardha; Dr. Anita Thakkar Lecturer and Kusum Rao from Mumbai; Dr. Kirit Bhai Patil, Surat; Dr. Babu Bhai Akhara, Gujarat; Anjana Sabhapandit, Assam; Pankaj Sinha, Dimapur; Wallen Jamir, Hindi Teacher Dimapur; Mithi Gaon Yagrung, Arunachal Pradesh.
The Seminar ended in a high note with the laying down of the foundation stone of Gandhi udyan (garden) sponsored by the Gujarat unit of the Vidya Bharti by Dr. Babu Bhai Akhara, working President, Vidya Bharti Gujarat unit.
