Tuensang, October 5 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has deputed the Government officials/staffs of various departments under Tuensang district to perform the election duty as Presiding Offer, 1st Polling Officer, 2nd Polling Officer, 3rd Polling Officer, 4th Polling Officer and grade-IV in connection with conduct of ensuring bye-election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly from 58-Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency.
In this regard, 1st round of the training will be conducted at GHSS, Tuensang as per the following schedule:

The training of 4th polling officers (related to COVID-19 duties) will be conducted by CMO Office as per the above mentioned scheduled.
In view of the above, all the head of department are hereby directed to inform and instruct the concerned officials/staffs deputed for election duty fails attend the scheduled training shall be prosecuted under the relevant provision of election laws. Further all the deputed officials who have been vaccinated are directed to bring COVID-19 vaccination certificate and officials who are yet to be vaccinated to bring authorized official identity card.
COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and related SOP/Guidelines shall be strictly adhered by all the deputed officials during the entire process of training.
