Dimapur, December 9 (MExN): The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on December 1 approved the induction of two Nagaland State Police Service officers into the Nagaland Cadre of Indian Police Service.
According to a Ministry of Home Affairs notification dates December 7, the two officers T Chumrenthung and Yanithung Ezung were listed by the Selection Committee in its meeting on June 14, 2022.
The duo was inducted in exercise of the provisions contained in sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 7 of the Indian Police Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, to fill up 2 substantive vacancies in the Nagaland Cadre of IPS, the notification stated.
