21 Taekwondo practitioner awarded Kukkiwon Black Belts in Dimapur

Dimapur, March 1 (MExN): Faith in Action Martial Arts Academy organised a Taekwondo Black Belt Awarding Ceremony on February 28 at Immanuel Hall, Y. Zhimo Colony, Dimapur, where 21 players received their official Dan Certificates issued by Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters, South Korea.

According to a press release issued by the academy’s Founder and Director Deep Kumar, the certification from Kukkiwon represents international recognition, technical excellence and authentic mastery in the art of Taekwondo.

Among the achievers, Tina Thapa was awarded Black Belt 2nd Dan in recognition of her advanced level of skill and long-term dedication to the sport.

The following 20 players were awarded Black Belt 1st Dan: Nito Tuccu, Imtichila Pongen, Echang W. Magdalene, Ithuka A Awomi, Sebastian Thatal, Kevikito Sakhru, Atobo Awomi, Juli Tsuqu, Aahan Debnath, Kivu A Awomi, Michael Sema, Imtirenla Imsong, Liku A Awomi, Nishepe Zhimo, Kivika Zhimo, Hinoto Achumi, Lamgunhao Lotjem, Smaiham Lamgthasa, Talimoa Longchar and Toika Shohe.

The ceremony was attended by parents, well-wishers and supporters who gathered to witness the occasion. Each Black Belt recipient was felicitated with their Dan Certificate in a formal programme conducted by the academy leadership.
