After registering win in their respective matches, Chüziema FC, Berenike FC Meriema and Viswemi FC today entered the second round of the ongoing 21st NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2021 here at Indira Gandhi Stadium.
Chüziema FC defeated Kigwema Students’ Union 2-1 in the first match of the day.
Kethosilie and Menguzelie contributed a goal each to Chüziema FC.
Medovito Sale netted a goal for Kigwema Students’ Union.
Berenike FC overpowered Chizami United 5-3 in the second match.
Shürhosül Zhotso and Vizotuolie Lhousi contributed two goals each for Berenike FC. Sinlo Kent added another goal for the team.
Former I-League player Khwetelhi Thopi scored a hat-trick for Chizami United.
Last edition runner up Viswemi FC defeated Kohima Bible College 4-1.
Tejongol Sothu opened the account for Viswemi FC in the 29th minute. Kelengol Toso, Zapukhoto Rhetso and Vilu Theyo also connected a goal each to the team.
A lone goal for Kohima Bible College came through Joygit Basumatary.
