Chedema Village Youth Organisation and Mez & Co today registered win in their respective match on the 17th day of the ongoing 25th NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.
Chedema VYO- 7, United Brothers Club- 1
Chedema Village Youth Organisation registered a stunning win over United Brothers Club, D’Block 7-1.
Lunmincian struck a hattrick for Chedema Village Youth Organisation in the 42nd, 65th and 73rd minute while Benjamin netted twice in 20th and 44th minute.
Lenboilun and Menuophretuo connected a goal each in the 30th and 92nd minute respectively.
Thejavizo Peseyie netted a lone goal for United Brothers Club in the 60th minute.
Bejamin of Chedema Village Youth Organisation bagged the “Player of the match” title and the award was handed over by Kezevituo Chakrünuo, Property Secretary, Angami Public Organisation (APO).
Mez & Co-9, Nurturing Youngster’s-0
Mez & Co blanked Nurturing Youngster’s 9-0 in the second match of the day.
Bijoy Moktan netted four goals for Mez & Co in the 23rd 25th 35th and 69th minute.
Tangua Ragui, L.Thangkholen Khongsi, Noulevituo Pienyii and Yitachu Thupetor also contributed a goal each.
Mez & Co gained another goal after Nurturing Youngster’s suffered own goal in the 89th minute.
Bijoy Moktan of Mez & Co was declared as “Player of the Match” and felicitated by Alezo Rino, Former Treasurer, Angami Students’ Union.
Anal Lenruwl Tangpi-6, Jakhama YO-1
Earlier, Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (Manipur) defeated Jakhama Youth Organisation 6-1 on October 1 at Chumoukedima Football Stadium. Thumsol fetched a hattrick for Anal Lenruwl Tangpi in the 11th, 50th and 71st minute. Changkingum connected two goals in the 16th and 19th minute while Winkle added another goal in the 34th minute.
Kunuzo Venyo inked a solitary goal for Jakhama Youth Organisation in the 49th minute. Match patron Kikrukhrietuo Yhoshü, President, Chümoukedima District Sports Shooting Association handed over “Player of the Match” award to Kagaly of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi.
Jury Board informs
Upon receiving the official communiqué from Sadar Hills Football Academy (Manipur) expressing their inability to participate in their third match of the on-going tournament, wherein they are scheduled to play against Michazou Football Club on October 3, the Jury Board of the 25th Anniversary Edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 has decided to take action basing on the By-law Rule No.24.
Henceforth, Team Management officials, 20 players and Sadar Hills Football Academy is banned from participating in the NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy for 3 (three) consecutive editions with immediate effect, according to Medo Yhokha, Convenor, Steering Committee and Diezevisie Nakhro, President, Angami Students’ Union.
With this, Michazou Football Club would win a walkover the first match on October 3.
