25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025: Red Scars FC, Sechü Zubza FC enter quarter finals

Red Scars FC and Sechü Zubza FC registered victories in their respective matches to advance to the quarterfinals of the 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on Tuesday.

Red Scars FC defeated Michazou FC 5-0 in the third pre-quarter final. Asito opened the scoring in the 5th minute and added a second in the 23rd minute. Rakeviche scored in the 26th minute, while Sentisang contributed two goals in the 63rd and 71st minutes. The match was attended by Er Nagashe Swu, Executive Engineer (Housing), Tribal Affairs Department, as the match patron. Asito was adjudged Player of the Match and was felicitated by Kevilelhou Zumu, former Vice-President of the Angami Students’ Union.

In the fourth pre-quarter final, Sechü Zubza FC edged past Ward 19 Kohima 3-1 in a tie-break after a scoreless draw in regular time.

Neithovilie Chalieu of Sechü Zubza FC was declared Player of the Match, receiving the award from match patron T. Phangphe Wangsha, Deputy Director, Rural Development, Government of Nagaland.
