United Brothers Club and Nurturing Youngsters registered wins on the fourth day of the 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium here on Wednesday.
In the first match, United Brothers Club defeated Onyx Titans FC 3-2. Thejavizo Peseyie starred for United Brothers, scoring a hat-trick in the 17th, 41st and 44th minutes. Toka Kiho and Dzuthotsoyi Medeo scored for Onyx Titans FC. Peseyie was named “Man of the Match” and received the award from Aja Zinyü, Convenor of the Souvenir Committee.
In the second match, Nurturing Youngsters beat Rüffüno Boys 5-1. Gideon Leo opened the scoring in the fourth minute, followed by goals from Shatilo Kent, K. Gangkoi Konyak, Bodevi Kire and Neikethozo Siamvü. Rüükolie Chase scored the lone goal for Rüffüno Boys. K. Gangkoi Konyak of Nurturing Youngsters was declared “Man of the Match” and was presented the award by Dr. Vitsosie Vüprü, Principal of Kohima College.

Match timings rescheduled for NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy
After thorough discussions by Technical Committee of the 25th Anniversary Edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025, and with the approval of the Steering Committee, it has decided to reschedule the match timings in accordance with Bye-law No. 25.
This decision has been made due to bad weather conditions and unpredictable road situations affecting travel and safety.
In Revised Match Schedule (effective from 19th September 2025, particularly for Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima), the first match will now take place at 12:00 (Noon) and 2nd Match at 2:00 PM.
All participating teams have been requested to take note of the revised timings and make the necessary arrangements 1 hour ahead accordingly.
