Last date for registration extended till 12 noon, January 12
Kohima, January 11 (MExN): A total of 26 teams, including 17 men’s teams and nine women’s teams, have registered so far for the third edition of the Nagaland Inter-Open Volleyball Tournament.
Organised by BKK Kezo Town under Kohima district, the tournament is scheduled to be held from January 13 to 14 at the local ground, Kezo Town.
According to the organisers, the registration fee for participating teams has been fixed at Rs 3,000.
The last date for registration has been extended till 12 noon on January 12, while the fixtures will be drawn at 3 pm on the same day.
The champions in both the men’s and women’s categories will receive cash prizes of Rs 50,000 each along with a running trophy, while the runners-up will be awarded Rs 30,000 each.
Cash prizes will also be given to the semi-finalist teams, the organisers informed.
In addition, individual awards such as Best Spiker and Best Setter will be presented during the tournament.
