290 enroll for Trinity Guildhall UK music exam

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): The annual prestigious music examinations by Trinity Guildhall UK are once again being conducted this year in Nagaland from October 3 to 14, 2011. A total of 290 students from Kohima and Dimapur enrolled for the exams this year under Trinity College of Music London. The Nagaland centre, under its representative - Khyochano TCK Ngully, is one of the fastest growing centres in India.

The examiner for 2011 is Michelle Lee, one of Europe’s leading flautists who is renowned for her artistic, expressive powers over the flute. She has performed throughout Europe and broadcasts for the BBC. She has extensively studied the flute, recorder, viola, piano and composition in several of Europe’s music conservatories.
