Paopong FC registered a comfortable 4-0 win over La-Son FC in the ongoing 29thLoyem Memorial Trophy at the parade ground in Tuensang on November 11.
Benjamin (8) found the net early in the 8th minute and six minutes later, Thangpong (10) doubled the lead for Paopong FC. In the 18th minute, Muthiu (23) netted another which took the scoreline to 3-0 at halftime. Longkhoi scored the fourth goal in the 49th minute, sealing the win for Pangpong FC.
Referee N Choba, 1st assistant M Nungsang, 2nd assistant M Jongshi and 4th official M Aolen were the match officials.
In the second match, Shanen FC who lost to the defending champion Nyenshen FC 4-2 on the opening day came back stronger to rout Exuberance FC by 4 goals to nil.
Wapong Temjen Longchar (7) scored a brace in the 21st and 35th minute and Nangshi Manen also scored a double in the 32nd and 40th minutes which helped Shanen FC register its first win in the toutnament.
Referee Chillio, 1st assistant Shillem, 2nd assistant T Chuba and 4th official A Yendin were the match officials.
