2nd rejoinder to Ape Venuh

I am once again compelled to reply to the recent rejoinders issued by my “old friend”, NSCN (IM) kilonser and caretaker UT-1, Ape Venuh, and by Toulazouma Village Council (TVC) and Church Baptist Church Toulazouma secretary on his behalf, which appeared in local media.

To the rejoinders of TVC (Jan 15) and Toulazouma Church secretary (Jan 11) on issue of “mithun” and termination of pastor and head deacon of Toulazouma Village, can you deny that you recently summoned them to Hebron Camp and forced them to issue the rejoinders in your favour? Now if you a God fearing and moral man as you profess, give a free hand Toulazouma villagers with regard to MGNREGS job cards, power bills, VEC and VDB funds etc. and let them live their own lives in peace and harmony without your or any outside interference.

On the 1984 rape incident in Phek town wherein you denied your involvement, if you swear that you did not rape the maid servant of your brother-in-law, then ask your brother-in-law and your sister since they are the best judge and witness. If you compel me to furnish the names of witness, then I am willing to lay bare the names of witnesses including present kilonsers in the NSCN (IM).

With regard the 2012 incident about Ape taking one of his maid servants to Kolkota on the pretext of medical treatment, my old friend Ape if you say I am lying, then ask your own wife as she is the best judge. Also remember that you and your wife were divorced for nearly a month because of your Kolkota escapade.

Ape, whatever I have said about you is to my best of knowledge, true and based on facts, as you yourself declared in your response that appeared in local papers dated Jan 12 and 13, where you also claimed that my allegations were “unbiased.” On my side, I personally thank you, my “old friend” for agreeing with my presentation about your past life, as in your own words, my accounts about you were “unbiased.”

Lastly, my old friend, I have to respond with mixed feelings to your foreboding challenge “This is between Shri. Vedeta Nienu and myself and none other. It all depends upon now who takes the first step.”  Like the English proverb “Barking dogs seldom bite”, my old friend Ape also is one of those barking dogs whose tails are always between their legs once they venture outside.

Now, since you have thrown an open challenge, I too have to reply in the same coin like a man. In the New Year 2014, I will salute you if you once leave your beloved Jalukie Zangdi village near Hebron Camp and set foot in Dimapur or even spend one night in your residence opposite Don Bosco HSS. You are also most welcome to visit me (whether surprise or informed visit) in my present residence, the location and address you know very well.

But don’t also forget that once you venture out from Jalukie Zangdi, I will not be the only one to seek you as over the years because of your “arrogant and dictatorship” attitude you have also earned the wrath of many from various communities including Angami, Chakhesang, Sumi, Thetsumi (Ape’s village) and business community of Dimapur.
