2nd World War veterans visit war cemetery

Kohima | October 10 : The 2nd World War veterans along with their family members under the aegis of The Royal British Legion today visited the 2nd World War Cemetery Kohima and paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives.
Laying of wreath, mass prayer and hymn were part of the service held this morning. Bill Parkin penned “A wonderful place” while Norman Espic also commented in the visitor diary that the 2nd World War cemetery is kept “very high standard.” The duo Mary and Cary Smith penned “A most moving experience.” The team, comprising 17, also visited Kohima village yesterday. Later, they left for Naga Heritage Village, Kisama this afternoon.
