A 30-bedded Modular Hospital was inaugurated at the CHC Tobu under Mon district on June 10.

Tobu, June 10 (MExN): The medical infrastructure in Tobu received a boost with the inauguration of a 30-bedded Modular Hospital at the Community Health Centre, Tobu on June 10.
The 30-bedded Modular Hospital which was inaugurated by Nagaland Advisor for Department of Under-Developed Areas (DUDA) N Bongkhao Konyak was funded by Thermofisher Scientific and executed by United Way Bengaluru & Modulus Housing, according to a press release.
In his speech, Advisor Bongkhao thanked the funding agency and United Way Bengaluru & Modulus Housing for coming up with the project at the CHC Tobu. He also thanked Mon Deputy Commissioner Thavaseelan K for his tireless efforts and service to the District and for uplifting the infrastructure, especially in the medical sector, the release stated. He Advisor also impressed upon the United Way Bengaluru to continue supporting and helping the sub-division, while expressing gratitude to the Government of Nagaland for posting doctors in the Hospital when their services were much needed.
The release stated that DC Thavaseelan highlighted on how the Modular Hospital project was initiated and completed, and also elaborated on the various ongoing CSR works in the sub-division. He requested the members to take care of the hospital and make optimum use of it, while thanking the DUDA Advisor, Konyak Union (Tobu Unit), Tobu Area Students’ Union, and the Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) for their active support and cooperation.
The programme was attended by Venkata Sudhakar Nirmala, VP- Finance, HR and Admin & Chief Compliance Officer; Ankur Nagaria, Executive Corporate Relations and Rachel Natasha, Manager, Corporate Relations of United Way Bengaluru, the release stated.
