37th Annual Games and Sports meet of Pfutsero Govt. College begins

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 19 (MExN): The Inaugural function of the 37th annual games and sports meet of Pfutsero Government College, Pfutsero was held on November 19 at Pfutsero Sports Complex with Colo Mero, Director, Life Ministries Nagaland as guest speaker. 

In his speech he encouraged the students to be young men and women of integrity with good character as society is in need of such persons and to start honoring honest people and leaders. He also encouraged the students to develop and master at least one skill and polish it so that it will help them in future because education without skill is useless and meaningless and above all have the fear of God and love oneself. 

Medozu Mero, Vice Principal, PGCP gave the welcome address. Khrieneikuo Zumu, Convenor, Sports Committee, lead the oath taking ceremony. The sports week began with exhibition match, Tug of war between lady teachers and students (girls) and football match between the male teachers and students’ union executives and EU Office bearers.
