Kohima, December 8 (MExN): The KDCA 3rd Inter-Club T20 Tournament 2025 commenced today at NCA Ground, Sovima under the aegis of Kohima District Cricket Association.
This year’s edition featured eight teams from across Kohima District.
The tournament will conclude on December 11.
Day 1 results
Kohima Hornbills vs P. Khel Eagles
Kohima Hornbills won the toss elected bat first and set a target of 155/9 in 20 overs.
Anga Shuya of Kohima Hornbills scored 71 runs in 34 balls, Kimiyeto Hesso scored 20 runs in 28 balls.
Keneisezo Sote P Khel Eagles took 4 wickets for 27 in 4 overs.
Chasing a target of 155, P Khel Eagles were all out for 66 runs in 14.4 overs.
Keneinguzo Sote of P Khel Eagles scored 19 runs in 17 balls, Henry Kent of Kohima Hornbills took 4 wickets in 4 overs.
Kohima Hornbills won the match by 89 Runs.
Anga Shuya was declared the Man of the match.
Elite Cricket Club vs T. Khel Knights
T Khel Knights won the toss and elected bat first and scored 103 for the loss of all wickets in 20 overs.
Kepeo Solo T Khel Knights scored 41 runs in 32 balls and both Kelhousielie and Imomemba of Elite CC took 3 wickets each. Chasing a target of 104, Elite Cricket Club comfortably chased the target in 9.3 overs losing only 2 wickets.
Imomemba of Elite CC scored 48 runs in 35 balls, Tapitu scored 33 runs in 16 balls. Thejasetuo Solo of T Khel Knights took 2 wickets in 4 overs.
Elite Cricket Club won the match by 9 wickets.

Dapfhütsumia Cricket Club won the toss elected bat first

Brotherhood Team vs Greyhounds
Brotherhood Team won the toss and elected to bat first
In a reduced over match, Brotherhood Team scored 115/4 in 16 overs. Opener Viketho Kechü scored 62 runs in 52 balls that were well supported by Thejaselhou Yhome with a score of 23 runs from 16 balls.
