Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): The 40th National Safety Day was observed at Indian Oil Depot, Signal Basti under the guidance and sponsorship of State Labour Department. A press note informed that the programme started with the Sr. Depot Manager, Dimapur Depot administering the ‘Safety pledge’ to the employees and other workmen.
A short speech on Industrial Safety was delivered by Sh. D. M. Maring, Dy. Mgr (Ops) followed by demonstration and use of Safety and Personnel Protective Equipments. Safety awards and cash incentives were given to two workmen who had made notable contribution towards ensuring year long Industrial Safety.
